Mandato

Mandatos is by far one of the best Mexican restaurants in Bay Ridge. However, some of the items on the menu are far better than the rest. While I wasn't thrilled with the tacos, (they tasted a bit like perfume..) the chimichangas were to die for. The portions are sizable and they give some decent sides, depending on what you order. I would highly suggest getting the nachos con carne and if you're feeling adventurous, one of the more authentic dishes. Considering the prices and the taste of the dishes that I did like, Mandato is my new go-to Mexican restaurant.

Mandato is a standard. Everything is delicious, including the postres. I've mostly ordered tortas and burritos, which are supreme. The nopales, cebollitas y jalape^os app is incredible! And on top of having great food, everyone is friendly and orders are always ready and waiting when I pick up. Zero complaints. :)

Always delicious. I love how they melt the cheese to the tortillas for their tacos! And (they must) marinate the chicken in butter or something because the flavor is just so good. Also, one of the only places you can get individual tostadas - also yummy!

SO GOOD. I tried the spicy chicken tostada, chicken taco, and pork taco--everything was excellent. I added their pico de gallo to punch it up a bit, very delicious.

CHIMICHANGA! This is place is awesome, def a repeat for me. Hands down best Mexican food in Bay Ridge. Ordered 1/2 the menu & everything was delicious.

Amazing!!! Delicious, cheap and fast. The chilequiles are out of this world. Seriously incredibly. I always get the Steak a la Tampiquea because it's so good and has everything I want in a main dish: meat and an enchilada. Their delivery service is amazing! I've ordered from them upwards of 15 times and they are always fast and friendly and just generally fantastic. If I could give them 6 stars, I would - they are everything I want in Mexican delivery: good, fresh food in good sized portions, fast and affordable.

Love their food, if you're ordering food and want authentic Mexican in bay ridge this is the most authentic place and the most WORTH it. The two other spots on the same block are good, but they're deff not AS good. For the price of tacos at Mandatos, everything has flavor and they add guacamole on top as well which is a plus cause tacos really only get cilantro and onions on top. 3 tacos is enough to get full.

Food took a long time, but the page did say it would take a while. Food was excellent. And I mean, really really excellent. Worth the wait, just order it before you're too hungry!

I liked the way how my tacos were served, very authentic. And they tasted good too! The most convenient convenient thing was that they deliver at night !

Hands down, best authentic Mexican tacos in All of New York! They hand make there tortillas, unreal flavor ...legit!!!
